“ODIA FOOD FESTIVAL” in Bhubaneswar by Michael’s Kitchen is something you should never miss!!!

Odia food is known around India and around the globe for it’s amazing taste and flavour. Whether it’s chhenapoda or dahibara nothing beats Odia food. But when it comes to garnishing the food and decorate Odisha falls behind a bit. But the time is changing and there are many great chefs in the state who are taking this to the next level.

If there is one chef in Odisha who glamorized and added all that jazz to the Odia cuisine and presented it with utmost fanfare it has to Chef Michael. The 15 day food festival “Progressive Odia Food Festival” inaugurated at Michael’s Kitchen on 22nd Jan. The festival is from 22nd January to 5th February.

An extensive selection of menu that gives a whole new perspective to the Odia Cuisine is something you can witness here. You will find odia regular dishes but with a twist like the Kakara with a minced chicken filling. This yummy kakara was properly stuffed with chicken which gives you the best taste. That chicken was properly cooked and perfect brown in color. Also you can find Gupchup with Badhichura and aloo Bharta on top of a shot glass.

The gupchup pani interestingly is Pakhala torani. Another masterpiece was the cone papad with chingudi checha & tomato Poda salsa and I would put all my money on the chocolate Chenapoda.

The 15 day food festival is an experience that you should not miss and kudos to Chef Michael for doing such amazing work with the cuisine.
